Description

Bart Coppes is leading Work Package 3 TELTA Technology Enhanced Learning, Teaching and Assessment. Bart works for the school for Child studies and Education of the Fontys University of Applied Sciences.

He is a teacher in the Master program, and in the Minor Inquiry and discovery-based learning and in the Minor Child learning with new media. He works at the university already for ten years.

Before this, he worked as a project manager in an education related foundation, e-learning consultant and sales manager in the electro technical branch. He has a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor in Teaching Electronics.

Jan Beijers

Member / Work Package 3

Description

Jan Beijers has worked on the original project design and proposal. Currently he supervises the work packages lead by Fontys University (work packages 3 and 5) and is part of the project steering committee.
Jan works for the Fontys University School for Child Studies and Education as a senior lecturer and innovation manager with both a bachelor and master degree in Education. He is an expert in curriculum design and the design and management of complex projects.
Another area of expertise is the partnership between Fontys and schools and schoolboards for primary education regarding the training of new teachers, the ongoing professional development of active teachers and practice based research.

Stefan van Beurden

Member / Work Package 3

Description

Stefan van Beurden is a lecturer at Fontys University of Applied Sciences and teaches science and technology. He is a teacher in the bachelor program and he is one of the developers of the minor Child Learning with Media. He learns students how to use ict literacy in education.
Stefan is a coordinator of internationalization for all students at location ‘s- Hertogenbosch. He is a coordinator of the university+ program as well. The university+ students is a select group of students who follow the bachelor and master degree at the same time.
Stefan is project member and facilitator at work package 3, Technology Enhanced Learning Teaching and Assessment.

Dr. Ellen Rohaan

The leader of Work Package 5

Section

Ellen is the leader of Work Package 5: Practise Based Research Capacity Building. She works as a teacher educator at the School for Child Studies and Education of Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven. She is senior lecturer in practice based research skills and methodology for the Master programmes ‘Leadership in Education’ and ‘Learning and innovating’.

Her areas of expertise include practice based research in education, inquiry and design based learning and teaching, and biological psychology. In 2009 she finished her PhD-study on primary school teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge in technology education at the Eindhoven University of Technology.

Dr Marjan de Groot-Reuvekamp

Fontys representatives for Work Package 5

Section

Marjan is one of Fontys representatives for Work Package 5: Practise Based Research Capacity Building. From January 2018 she is coordinator of WP5.
She works as a teacher trainer for history in primary education at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, where she provides history modules and supervises internships in primary schools. Furthermore, she supervises research projects of graduate students and school leaders in the Master for Educational Leadership.
Until 2016 Marjan was President of EUROCLIO, an international association of national associations of history teachers, through which she gained experience in working with international projects and collaborating with international partners.
In 2017 Marjan finished her PhD study on “The improvement of the understanding of historical time for primary school pupils”. Several chapters of her thesis were published in peer reviewed journals.
