This work package aims to enhance the capacity among academic staff to research their pedagogical practices and the learning and practices of their students and draw upon these to inform on-going improvement of the BA programme.
This work package focuses on qualitative research using the methodology of ‘practice based research’ (Ros, Vermeulen 2011).
1- To train academic staff in the use of Practice Based Research
methodology so they can prepare and conduct research projects aimed at improving the BA programme.
2- To develop academic staff competences based upon the concepts of the reflective practitioner and extended professionality (Windmuller 2012).
3- To develop learning communities using the dialogue and reflective function (Ros 2010) of practice based research.
